Having read the Guidelines, are there any additional issues that you would prefer to have addressed, or would like clarification on?

Do the Guidelines provide useful guidance for making ethical allocation decisions during public health emergency situations? Are there any improvements you would like to suggest?

The Introduction and Assumptions sections of the Guidelines aim to provide background and context for the document.  What is your assessment of these sections? Do they provide sufficient information and context? Is additional explanation needed?

What is your assessment of the Goals outlined in the Guidelines? Does the Goals section of the document provide enough explanation of the three goals?

Are all of the relevant Ethical Considerations included in the Guidelines? Are there additional ethical considerations that should be included, and if so, which considerations? Are any of the Ethical Considerations not relevant for these Guidelines?

Are the Allocation Criteria useful in thinking through the ethical aspects of allocation decisions? Is additional detail (or less detail) needed? Are there additional criteria that should be included?

Does the Implementation section provide helpful information regarding the application of the Allocation Criteria? Are there additional issues that should be addressed here?

Annex 1 provides specific guidance for Emergency Medical Services and Medical Control Authorities. Did you find this guidance useful? Are there additional issues that need to be addressed? Do you have any other comments on this annex?

Annex 2 provides specific guidance for Hospitals and Other Healthcare Facilities. Did you find this guidance useful? Are there additional issues that need to be addressed? Do you have any other comments on this annex?

Annex 3 provides specific guidance on legal issues relevant to allocation of scarce medical resources and services during public health emergencies. Did you find this guidance useful? Are there additional issues that need to be addressed? Do you have any other comments on this annex?

In addition to the current annexes, we are currently planning to develop additional specific guidance for public health officials and outpatient healthcare settings. What sorts of issues or questions would you like to see addressed in these annexes? Are there other topics you would like to see addressed?
